Position Overview:

The Account Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Operating out of the Culver City, CA office, you will play a critical role in expanding the brand portfolio, managing current partnerships, and promoting collections. This Account Development Manager role involves engaging clients through presentations and business development strategies that align with the company’s goals.

Responsibilities of the Account Development Manager:

  • Drive sales and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and revenue
  • Identify and acquire new brands to diversify and grow the sales portfolio
  • Manage the existing brand portfolio, ensuring continuous growth and client satisfaction
  • Monitor and achieve sales targets, maintaining a keen understanding of budgetary goals
  • Engage regularly with clients to ensure their needs are understood and exceeded
  • Develop and implement tailored product strategies, regularly reviewing and adjusting as necessary
  • Create compelling product presentations for sales and promotional purposes
  • Prepare detailed product development briefs to support global production initiatives
  • Oversee the development of products, from formula selection to packaging approval
  • Keep the sales pipeline organized and up to date using various systems (BPM, Excel, etc.)
  • Attend client meetings, both local and international, as required, including travel to Italy for specialized product training
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions and events

Qualifications for the Account Development Manager:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or a related role within the cosmetic industry
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record in leadership and team management
  • Experience in product development, brand management, and sales strategy
  • Knowledgeable about industry trends and eager to expand expertise

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
