Client Overview:

Our client is a globally known personal care brand with a focus on photoprotection. This upbeat brand is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join a small team focused on regulatory and legal compliance for all of its product internationally. The chosen candidate will support the team temporarily to cover a parental leave.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$24 – $40/hr, depending on level of experience

Position Overview:

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will support the Director of Regulatory Affairs and collaborate with various departments to complete international product registrations (Canada, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.). The Regulatory Affairs Specialist should be proactive, independent, and hardworking. This role will support the internal team on all day-to-day regulatory documentation requests from other departments.

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Affairs Specialist:

  • Complete international product registrations for all new product launches
  • Compile, format, and organize all regulatory documentation
  • Review formulas for new and existing products for compliance in each international market
  • Compile ingredient lists
  • Review artwork for regulatory compliance
  • Complete special projects related to regulatory affairs as directed by supervisor

Qualifications for the Regulatory Affairs Specialist:

  • 0 to 5 years in cosmetic/OTC regulatory compliance, or related CPG industry
  • Knowledge of OTC and international regulations
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field is required
