Currently, they are s seeking a Temporary Showroom Sales Assistant to support their busy NYC showroom.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

This Temp Showroom Sales Assistant role is a blend of reception, data entry, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience in client-facing roles.

Responsibilities of the Temp Showroom Sales Assistant:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, and assist with showroom inquiries.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for showroom clients.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including updating client and inventory databases accurately.
  • Process invoices and assist with basic invoicing tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to showroom staff as needed.

Qualifications for the Temp Showroom Sales Assistant:

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the fashion or retail industries.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
