They are expanding their team and looking to bring on an Associate Designer – Apparel.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Associate Designer – Apparel to join our client’s dynamic, fast-paced Design team. This role focuses on executing monthly collections across all categories of sportswear, including tops, bottoms, dresses, denim, and knitwear. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, and versatile, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a proactive, “all hands on deck” mindset.
Responsibilities of the Associate Designer – Apparel:
- Participate in the design process, from concept to final product.
- Create and refine CAD sketches and ensure accuracy in tech packs.
- Maintain and update PLM systems.
- Assist with sourcing and product development, ensuring timely execution of designs.
- Contribute to fittings and collaborate on adjustments as needed.
- Support the creation of mood boards and perform market research to inform design strategies.
- Coordinate effectively within the team to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications for the Associate Designer – Apparel:
- At least 3 years of relevant design experience. Expertise in knitwear is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in sketching CAD, creating tech packs, and using PLM software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a self-starter attitude.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is required.
