Client Overview:
Our client is a renowned medical practice with various locations throughout the area. Their mission is to provide top-of-the-line patient care while providing staff with a warm and welcoming environment. Our client is looking to hire a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$16/hr
Position Overview:
The Part-Time Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role, serving as the first point of contact for patients and staff. They will ensure a smooth operation at the front desk and manage various administrative tasks. The position requires availability 2 – 3 days a week between 08:30 am – 5:00 pm. This role does not require weekend availability.
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Medical Receptionist:
- Greet patients and ensure they are checked in properly.
- Work with patients directly to collect and verify insurance documentation.
- Maintain office inventory levels.
- Schedule upcoming appointments and notify patients of any cancellations.
- Report directly to the Provider onsite and ensure that all patients have a seamless experience.
Qualifications for the Part-Time Medical Receptionist:
- Available to work part-time hours between Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Multitasker and must be able to work well under high pressure.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor is a must!
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
