Client Overview:

Our client, a leading wine and spirits brand located in NYC. They are seeking a Data Insights Manager to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40 – $45/hr

Position Overview:

This Data Insights Manager contract position will be covering a paternal leave of absence from January 2025 until May 2025. This Data Insights Manager role will be hybrid a their NYC office (3 days onsite/2 Days remote).

Responsibilities of the Data Insights Manager:

  • Direct a team of data analysts to leverage data for more effective sales strategies and targeted market growth
  • Guide the data team to focus on key insights derived from sales, market, and inventory data, setting priorities to align with our sales growth objectives
  • Ensure that the insights produced support market responsiveness, targeted sales strategies, and optimized resource allocation
  • Lead milestone check-ins to track deliverables and provide feedback, keeping the project aligned with business goals without requiring hands-on data hub creation
  • Manage the training schedule for data analytics program, track participant engagement, and address any barriers to learning
  • Work closely with teams and stakeholders to align the curriculum with participant needs, ensuring relevancy and impactful learning outcomes
  • Collect feedback to fine-tune the program and identify advanced needs, supporting effective and sustained data skills development

Qualifications for the Data Insights Manager:

  • Candidates must have either CPG or Ecommerce or Wine and Spirits industry background
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing consumer data insights and provide strategic direction based on findings
  • Strong project management skills to lead milestones, manage timelines, and coordinate with the various teams
  • Understanding of sales optimization, market targeting, and inventory management
  • Experience in managing training programs, particularly in data literacy or technical skill-building
  • Skills in working with diverse functional teams, gathering feedback, and adapting training to meet business needs

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
