Our client is a renowned global developer of fine ingredients supporting quality consumer goods and food industries. They are looking to add a Production Operations Supervisor to their team.

Position Overview:

The successful Production Operations Supervisor will lead a dynamic team of production staff to ensure efficient, cost-effective, safe, and timely production and delivery of customer orders.

Responsibilities of the Production Operations Supervisor:

  • Manage production floor activities including batch processing, production scheduling, shift staff arrangement and coverage, inventory, and smooth equipment operation while ensuring a safe and compliant GMP work environment.
  • Oversee areas including batching, spray drying, extraction, processing, distillation, inventory, etc.
  • Assist the Process Engineering team and different teams to optimize batch processing quality and production efficiency.
  • Promptly address production issues or customer complaints in collaboration with quality and customer support teams.
  • Supervise, train, and coach production staff to promote safety and collaborative cultures.
  • Report to management timely on any production updates or issues.

Qualifications for the Production Operations Supervisor:

  • Experience in production or processing in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in GMP, SOP, production safety, and compliance.
  • Experience in production operation, distillation, extraction, and batch processing.
  • Ability to lead and train production staff.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Computer skills, SAP.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing exposure is highly preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Training or degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines, or High School / GED with relevant experience.
