Our client is a luxury preventive health care service that operates on a membership basis, offering advanced primary and specialty care that focuses on a proactive, preventive, and precision-based approach through comprehensive screenings and personalized treatments aimed at preventing, reversing, or managing chronic diseases effectively. They are looking to add Luxury Care Providers: Nurse Practitioners (NP) / Physician Assistants (PA) to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$175k – $190k DOE

Position Overview:

We are looking for Luxury Care Providers: Nurse Practitioners (NP) / Physician Assistants (PA) to join our client’s Internal Medicine teams. These candidates will work closely with Chief Medical Officers to provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate innovative thinking, and have a solid background in internal medicine. Ideal applicants for the Luxury Care Providers: Nurse Practitioners (NP) / Physician Assistants (PA) should be experienced in urgent care, primary care, or family medicine and have a comfort level in treating the adult population.

Responsibilities of the Luxury Care Providers: Nurse Practitioners (NP) / Physician Assistants (PA):

  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Collaborate with CMOs to conduct thorough health assessments, diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Treatment and Management: Work with CMOs to provide primary and specialty care services, prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and implement therapeutic interventions. Manage chronic conditions and adjust treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Educate patients and families about health promotion strategies, disease prevention measures, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health and well-being. Emphasize preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and health maintenance activities.
  • Collaborative Care: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Consult with specialists, refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers, and facilitate continuity of care across healthcare settings.
  • Clinical Care: Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG. May need to see patients independently for urgent visits on weekends.
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes. Assist in completing forms for patient care such as Radiology questionnaires. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ethical and Legal Compliance: Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards of practice, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and respect for patients’ rights and dignity. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice, licensure, and scope of practice.

Qualifications for the Luxury Care Providers: Nurse Practitioners (NP) / Physician Assistants (PA):

  • Experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Endocrinology, and Family Medicine is preferred.
  • Commitment to a work schedule comprising four 10-hour shifts weekly, from Wednesday to Saturday, dayshift hours, with the possibility to adjust as needed.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an assigned state.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, high levels of integrity, and a flexible, open-minded approach.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Education Requirements:

  • Current NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA.
  • PALS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
