Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Management Consultant. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. You will guide clients through the leasing process, manage property tours, and assist with all leasing and administrative functions. Responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant:
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting the community’s features and benefits to meet leasing goals.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing excellent customer service and accurate information about available units, pricing, and leasing terms.
- Process leasing applications, including verifying applicant qualifications, conducting credit and background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite) for leasing activities, resident information, and unit availability.
- Coordinate and assist with move-in and move-out processes, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
- Execute lease renewal programs by preparing renewal offers, reaching out to tenants, and finalizing agreements to retain occupancy.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants and promote the property.
- Address tenant concerns and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications of the Leasing Consultant:
- Must be able to work a Tuesday-Saturday work schedule as well as occasional nights and weekends.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or sales is strongly desired.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current resident.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
