Leasing Consultant

Our client is on the hunt for a Leasing Consultant. If you have previous leasing or sales experience and are looking to expand your real estate career, this is the position for you!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50k – $56k

Position Overview:

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for assisting prospective and current residents and supporting marketing efforts of their assigned property.

Responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant:

• Greet residents and visitors, handle inquiries about apartments and amenities, address and resolve complaints, and foster strong relationships to encourage lease renewals.
• Assist prospective residents with applications and lease agreements, ensure compliance with leasing criteria, and support marketing efforts through advertising, promotional events, and staying informed on market trends.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information, process rent payments and financial transactions, and prepare and update reports for stakeholders.
• Work closely with property managers and maintenance teams to ensure units are move-in ready and coordinate smooth transitions for move-ins and move-outs.
• Ensure all leasing processes and communications comply with fair housing laws and property regulations, while enforcing building policies and lease terms as needed.

Qualifications of the Leasing Consultant:

• 1-3+ years of leasing or prior sales experience required.
• Ability to work both weekend and evenings is required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
