Our client is a leading player in the alcohol distribution industry. They pride themselves on their extensive portfolio of high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and strong relationships with both suppliers and clients. Their mission is to provide a diverse range of premium alcoholic beverages to retailers, bars, restaurants, and other establishments while ensuring the utmost satisfaction for our customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our client’s team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$34/hr – $38/hr

Position Overview:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The ideal candidate for the Payroll Specialist will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of payroll practices and procedures.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Payroll processing.
• Assist with compliance.
• Record keeping.
• Take charge of reporting.
• Problem resolution.
• Assist with system management.
• Collaboration.
• Assist with audits.

Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, nested formulas, and pivot tables.
• 2+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
• Paylocity is highly preferred.
• Multi state experience.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma is required.
