Our client is an international business looking to add a Demand Planner to their growing organization. This role is fully onsite.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $80k

Position Overview:

The Demand Planner will play a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, minimizing supply chain costs, and improving customer satisfaction. This position involves forecasting demand, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with various departments to align supply with demand effectively.

Responsibilities of the Demand Planner:

  • The Demand Planner will develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business insights.
  • Use statistical and predictive models to refine demand planning processes.
  • The Demand Planner will analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand patterns to make informed planning decisions.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
  • The Demand Planner will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts with business goals.
  • Communicate demand plans and changes to key stakeholders effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demand while minimizing excess.
  • The Demand Planner will identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks or imbalances.
  • Track forecast accuracy and key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve demand planning processes.
  • The Demand Planner will provide regular reports and updates to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting techniques, planning tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in demand planning and supply chain management.

Qualifications for the Demand Planner:

  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and inventory management principles.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
