Our client is a global fundraising firm partnering with nonprofits to achieve transformational change. Supporting over 700 organizations annually, they have 18 offices across the U.S. and Europe and a team of 600+ professionals driven by purpose and performance. They are seeking a visionary Senior Director, Field Marketing to shape and expand the Corporate Field Marketing program.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$105k – 120k
Position Overview:
This Senior Director, Field Marketing role is vital to connecting regional and service-line teams with our overarching corporate strategy, driving the evolution of firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives. The Senior Director of Field Marketing will spearhead strategic planning and execution, oversee a growing team, and collaborate across departments to deliver measurable results. Preference for candidates in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Miami, Chicago, or Los Angeles.
Responsibilities of the Senior Director, Field Marketing:
- Evaluate and enhance the current field marketing program to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with leadership to define priorities for 2025 and beyond.
- Develop an annual strategy, including KPIs and guiding plans for: Events and conferences, Brand partnerships and public relations, Client communications and stewardship, Digital media and innovations, and Content and thought leadership.
- Oversee the effectiveness of regional marketing activities to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Manage and grow the Field Marketing team.
- Directly supervise two current field marketers.
- Recruit and onboard an additional field marketer in Q1 2025.
- Set performance expectations and provide coaching and professional development.
- Lead field marketing partnership strategy for new service lines.
- Communicate program progress and achievements to regional partners and firm leadership.
- Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to integrate field insights into the overall strategy.
Qualifications for the Senior Director, Field Marketing:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing or business development.
- Proven ability to lead collaborative marketing programs; experience in field marketing is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in program development is preferred.
- Exceptional integrity, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to synthesize data and recommend strategic actions.
- Familiarity with nonprofit culture and fundraising practices is desirable.
- Genuine commitment to the mission and values of our firm and its clients.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
