$28/hr – $32/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our client’s Design team. The Associate Designer will play a key role in developing and executing trend-forward, high-quality designs that align with the company’s vision and meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities of the Associate Designer:

  • Collaborate with the Design team to conceptualize and develop seasonal collections that reflect market trends, customer preferences, and brand objectives.
  • Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to inform design strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in creating detailed technical sketches, CADs, and design boards for presentations and production handoffs.
  • Work closely with the Sourcing and Production teams to select fabrics, trims, and other materials that meet design and quality standards as an Associate Designer.
  • Review and provide feedback on samples, ensuring designs are executed accurately and meet company specifications.

Qualifications for the Associate Designer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably with exposure to private label or mass-market brands.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other CAD tools.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and production processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
