Our client is a fast-paced, GMP-certified developer of consumer products regulated by the FDA. They are looking to add a Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55k – $60k Annually
Position Overview:
The Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift will follow strict GMP protocol to ensure the products are meeting industry and company standards. Responsibilities include reviewing batch records, conducting physical inspections of finished goods, and collaborating in a team environment. This position is for the 2nd shift, with working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift:
- Conduct daily inspections of production lines to ensure compliance with GMPs and company standards.
- Accurately document findings, including lot numbers, weights, defects, and other key details.
- Verify work areas are clear of previous materials and ready for use (Line Clearance).
- Inspect and test in-process and finished products for quality, collect data and samples, and determine product disposition.
- Label materials appropriately based on disposition.
- Notify relevant teams of any discrepancies in procedures or specifications.
- Collect and review samples and documentation as needed for compliance and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support a culture of quality.
- Perform additional tasks and testing as assigned to maintain product quality.
Qualifications for the Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Education Requirements:
- GED is required.
