They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65k – $75k

Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the attorneys in all aspects of personal injury litigation. You will work closely with clients, attorneys, and other staff to ensure that cases are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate for the Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal will be fluent in both English and Spanish, have strong organizational skills, and possess a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal:

  • Case Management: Assist attorneys with managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to gather information, provide updates, and answer questions.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
  • Discovery: Assist with the discovery process, including gathering and organizing documents, responding to discovery requests, and managing evidence.
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file documents with the court, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide relevant case law and statutes to attorneys.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining case files, and managing calendars.

Required Experience/Skills for the Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal:

  • Experience: Minimum of years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury litigation.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and case management software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal:

  • 3 – 4 years of experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Paralegal certificate is required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
