Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000k – $88,000k per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and will provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Experience in a similar industry or corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
