Our client is a fully integrated real estate development and investment management firm dedicated to developing market-rate workforce housing. They are looking to add a Construction Design Engineer (EIT) to their team.

Position Overview:

The Construction Design Engineer (EIT) is responsible for the design and production of construction plans, technical calculations, reports, and permit documentation for multi-family development projects that occur in Georgia, Florida, and the Southeast.

Responsibilities of the Construction Design Engineer (EIT):

  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Performing hydrologic analyses.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Engineering team.
  • Developing tree management/landscaping plans, site grading plans, earthwork calculations, erosion and sedimentation control plans, and utility plans, including water and sanitary sewer design.

Required Experience/Skills for the Construction Design Engineer (EIT):

  • Three years of proven work experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraflow (or equivalent), Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential
  • A willingness to learn and work independently.
  • Current EIT.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
