Production Supervisor/Foreman

Our client, an international construction company, is looking for a Production Supervisor/Foreman to join their growing team. Our client is a major supplier in its respective industry and is expanding rapidly throughout Central Florida.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$21/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview:

Reporting to the production supervisor, the Production Supervisor/Foreman will be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. They will oversee the production process from material stage to final completion and shipping stage. 

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor/Foreman:

• Be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage.
• Recommend individuals for hiring, firing and promotion within.
• Ensure that safety rules are followed.
• Supervise and manage 12 – 15 full-time employees:
• Daily responsibility of ensuring each follows established department guidelines.

Required Experience/Skills for the Production Supervisor/Foreman:

• Ability to read and understand bills of lading and customer order sheets. 
• Good communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Basic math aptitude with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by all units of measure.
• Has authority and responsibility to suggest and recommend any possible improvements in production departments.
• Able to work well under demanding environment.
• Good human relations skills.
• Have a positive work attitude and disposition.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma is required.
• College degree is preferred or 4+ years of manufacturing plant experience.
