3rd Shift Lab Technician

Our client is a global consumer goods company that is looking to add a 3rd Shift Lab Technician to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $27/hr

Position Overview:

The 3rd Shift Lab Technician will conduct tests on various products which could include analytical chemistry tests, sensory tests, and other evaluations. This is an overnight shift. 

Responsibilities of the 3rd Shift Lab Technician:

• The 3rd shift Lab Technician will test products using established procedures.
• Perform analytical testing such as gas chromatography, pH testing, titrations, UV-Vis, and color tests.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Perform sensory evaluation of products which could include tasting samples.
• The 3rd Shift Lab Technician will maintain accurate test results and lab data.
• Follow all SOPs and company regulations.
• Present results to team and leadership.

Required Experience for the 3rd Shift Lab Technician:

• Strong lab experience.
• Knowledge of chemistry lab equipment such as pH meters, spectroscopy, chromatography, etc.
• Ability to work in the lab with strong fragrances.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience for the 3rd Shift Lab Technician:

• Prior experience in consumer goods is preferred for the 3rd Shift Lab Technician
• Experience with SAP.
• The 3rd Shift Lab Technician should have a strong interest in working in the consumer goods industry.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
• Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
