Our client is a mission-driven fintech organization focused on expanding access to affordable credit for underserved communities. Currently, they are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$39/hr – $50hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a mid-level Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end customer communication strategies across owned channels. In this role, you will craft and execute multi-step email and SMS journeys that guide customers from awareness to engagement and ultimately toward financial action. The ideal candidate for the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist role has hands-on experience managing campaigns within platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Iterable, with a passion for data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities of the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist:

  • Develop strategic lifecycle marketing plans and supporting documentation, including messaging frameworks and campaign roadmaps.
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Creative, and Analytics.
  • Draft creative briefs and support the development of engaging marketing assets.
  • Build and optimize customer journeys using tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Iterable.
  • Implement segmentation and logic-based audience targeting.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Mode) and generate actionable insights.
  • Continuously refine lifecycle touchpoints to improve user engagement, conversion, and revenue impact.

Required Experience/Skills for the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing, with a strong foundation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • At least 2 years of experience building campaigns in Iterable or Braze.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies using customer events and behavioral triggers.
  • Skilled in writing clear, compelling business and marketing briefs.
  • Strong analytical background with experience using BI tools for data exploration and reporting.
  • Comfortable leading projects and aligning multiple stakeholders to a shared vision.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Naturally collaborative with strong communication skills, especially when working across creative and technical functions.
  • SQL proficiency is a plus.
  • Prior experience or interest in the personal lending or fintech industry.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
