Atrium is partnering with a restaurant group seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$55k – $60k

Position Overview:

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all restaurant locations within the group. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate for the Payroll Analyst role will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Analyst:

  • Accurately process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in pay rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and company policies, including tax reporting, garnishments, and benefits deductions.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, including labor cost analysis, overtime, and other key metrics.
  • Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly, providing support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
  • Work closely with HR, Accounting, and Restaurant Management teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and support overall financial objectives.

Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Analyst:

  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Associate’s degree is preferred.
