“Transparency Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Automated Employment Decision Tools (AEDTs) in Hiring”
Atrium Staffing LLC and its Affiliates (collectively “Atrium”) is committed to leveraging innovative and advanced technologies to enhance our hiring processes and provide the best experiences for our candidates and clients. As part of this commitment, we utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, also known as Automated Employment Decision Tools (AEDT), to assist in various stages of recruitment and hiring.
We are committed to maintaining transparency in our use of AI tools and ensuring that all candidates are treated fairly and equitably throughout the hiring process.
Atrium ensures that its AI tools are used to complement human decision-making, not replace it. All final hiring decisions are made by our experienced recruitment professionals.
Atrium is committed to ensuring the responsible use of AI tools in compliance with industry best practices and applicable legal frameworks, such as the EU AI Act (where applicable) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidance. We continually monitor and improve our AI systems to ensure they remain unbiased, effective, and aligned with our values of diversity and inclusion.
Atrium values candidate feedback regarding our use of AI tools. If you have questions or concerns about how AI may have impacted your application process, please contact us at privacyadministrator@atriumstaff.com.
As required by New York City Local Law 144, all AI systems utilized during the hiring purposes, also known as AEDTs, undergo independent audits for bias and discrimination.

Upon request, Atrium will provide explanations of how specific AI tools function and the factors they consider during assessments.
Atrium will obtain consent from candidates before utilizing AI tools or AEDTs in the hiring process. Candidates have the right to withhold consent (“opt-out”), and Atrium will provide alternative assessment methods where feasible.
Candidates who wish to request an accommodation or opt-out of the use of AI tools in the hiring process due to specific needs or concerns may do so by contacting privacyadministrator@atriumstaff.com.
Atrium is committed to providing reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Requests for accommodation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure a fair and inclusive hiring process for all candidates.
PLEASE NOTE: In some rare cases, if a candidate chooses not to provide consent, Atrium may not be able to proceed further in the hiring or assessment process. This limitation may arise due to technical or resource constraints, or specific business requirements from our clients that necessitate the use of the tool. We encourage candidates to discuss any concerns with us to explore potential alternatives where feasible.
We prioritize the privacy and security of candidate data. Our AI tools are evaluated to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and security standards. For more information on how Atrium processes and protects personal information, please visit our Privacy Policy.
Personal information is handled with the utmost care and is only used for recruitment and hiring purposes. Atrium will only input personal information into our AI or AEDT tools when necessary to fulfill the intended purpose. Additionally, Atrium enforces strict access controls and conducts regular security audits to safeguard candidate data.
