Our client is seeking an Account Manager for a temporary opportunity expected to last a couple of months, with the potential to extend. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

This Account Manager role involves managing membership accounts, overseeing onboarding processes, and building lasting relationships with members. The ideal candidate for the Account Manager role will have strong communication skills, experience with CRM systems – especially monday.com – and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the membership experience, optimize operations, and support overall business objectives.

Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

  • Manage membership account records, including enrollment documentation, invoices, and financial records.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for membership-related documents, payments, and inquiries.
  • Enter and reconcile data within monday.com to track sales activity and customer engagement.
  • Assist in the development of CRM user guides and support materials.
  • Generate and maintain membership reports to monitor pipeline, sales performance, and forecasts.
  • Partner with Finance to track invoicing and late payments.
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to optimize CRM functionalities.
  • Support new member onboarding and ensure completion of necessary documentation.
  • Develop marketing and sales support materials in collaboration with the team.
  • Track and manage membership leads, triaging inquiries to the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, using empathy and active listening to anticipate their needs.

Required Experience/Skills for the Account Manager:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or account management.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly monday.com.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster long-term relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to privacy, information security, and discretion.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Account Manager:

  • Experience in a membership-based or subscription-driven business model.
  • Background in financial tracking and invoicing related to membership accounts.
  • Familiarity with sales support and marketing materials development.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
