Our client is a leading firm specializing in providing accounting solutions and consulting services for various industries, with a focus on streamlining financial operations through technology. They are currently seeking a consulting Accounting Manager to assist in NetSuite implementation and user acceptance testing for their clients, particularly in the construction sector.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k – $100k
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Consulting Accounting Manager with experience in NetSuite implementation and user acceptance testing. This role will be key in managing the transition of accounting systems for our clients, ensuring the successful adoption of NetSuite, and providing support to users throughout the implementation process. Experience in construction accounting is a plus. This is a consulting position that could turn into full-time.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Lead and manage NetSuite implementation for clients, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets client needs.
- Work closely with client teams to provide training and ongoing support throughout the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Document business processes and system configurations.
- Provide advice and guidance on best practices for financial systems management.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any system issues that arise post-implementation.
- For candidates with construction industry experience, assist in tailoring NetSuite to meet the specific needs of construction clients.
Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Proven experience with NetSuite implementation, including user acceptance testing.
- Experience in accounting management, with a strong understanding of accounting processes and principles.
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- NetSuite certification is preferred, but not required.
