We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $120k Annually

Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the financial health and growth of the company.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Coordinate and support external audits.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate development or construction industry.
  • Proven experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:

  • CPA certification ideally.
  • Experience with real estate accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Sage).
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance related to real estate development.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
