Client Overview:

Our team is partnering with a large Construction and Manufacturing Company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will assist in processing invoices and maintaining vendor relationships. This Accounts Payable Specialist role is a key position in ensuring smooth financial operations for the company, which has completed over 10,000 projects in Florida and provides design, manufacturing, and installation services.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting department with invoice processing, preparing and responding to NTOs, and posting journal entries. This Accounts Payable Specialist role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting departmental efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Processing 3-way match invoice.Handling lien waivers and NTOs.
  • Posting journal entries during month-end close.
  • Reporting travel and expense.
  • Coding credit card transactions.Ad hoc projects.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience working in the construction industry.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
