Client Overview:

Our client is a privately owned manufacturing company that specializes in the food and beverage industry. They are the leading provider in the industry, and have state-of-the-art facilities and customer application centers throughout the USA. The team is now looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$23/hr – $27/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting team with invoice processing, handling lien documents, and job coding. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work with the accounting manager during month end close and with Ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Processing a high volume of invoices, 3- way match, and coding to projects.
• Entering A/P journal entries.
• Project accounting and working with subcontractors and vendors.
• Resolving discrepancies and answering vendor inquiries.
• Month end close and Ad hoc reporting.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• 1 + years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience using MS Office Suite and Accounting ERP Systems.

Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree or higher is preferred .
