Atrium Staffing is partnering with a large Construction and Manufacturing Company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They are Florida-based and have completed over 10,000 projects in the state. They provide design, manufacturing, and installation services. Their team is now looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$26/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining records of all transactions.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Generate and send out invoices to clients as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts and agreements.
  • Process customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues, answer questions, and provide information regarding account status.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts. Assist in month-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience working in the Construction Industry.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher.
