The team is now looking for an Administrative Assistant.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k – $60k
Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The Administrative Assistant is expected to be resourceful, proactive, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Professional appearance and manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Address customer inquiries and provide information or direct them to the appropriate person.
- 1 – 3 years of administrative experience.
- Employee benefits or insurance experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:
- Office Management: Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Oversee office equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them promptly. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations.
- Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients. Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Data Management: Maintain and update company databases and records. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all platforms. Generate reports and provide data analysis as needed.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma.
