Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Applications System Analyst to provide technical support for middle office processes, focusing on payroll data validation, transaction accuracy, and invoice troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in business systems analysis and possess strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills. Key responsibilities of the Business Applications Systems Analyst role include assisting with payroll reconciliation, supporting custom solution design, working with software vendors to troubleshoot issues, and participating in data migration and new system implementations. Additionally, you will assist with regression testing, system audits, and the development of documentation to ensure system sustainability. To succeed in this role, you will need experience with Bullhorn ATS and/or Bullhorn Time and Expense (BTE/Peoplenet), advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of the staffing industry. You should be able to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and excellent follow-up.

Responsibilities of the Business Applications Systems Analyst:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for middle office processes, including payroll data validation, transaction accuracy, and invoice troubleshooting.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliation efforts by coordinating with Vendor Support, Account teams, and the Atrium back office as needed. 
  • Review current business application procedures and recommend solutions to minimize errors and improve efficiency. 
  • Support custom solution design by analyzing requirements, creating workflows, and writing specifications. 
  • Assist with data migration and new system implementation activities. 
  • Work with software vendors to troubleshoot issues and coordinate new functionality releases. 
  • Collaborate directly with Middle Office end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
  • Assist with regression testing for new software releases. 
  • Perform system audits to ensure compliance. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to process changes, system updates, and troubleshooting guides to support long-term sustainability and knowledge transfer. 
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on competing deadlines. 

Required Experience/Skills for the Business Applications Systems Analyst:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst. 
  • Experience working with Bullhorn ATS and/or Bullhorn Time and Expense(BTE/Peoplenet) and knowledge of a Payroll System. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skillset. 
  • Advanced Excel. 
  • Working knowledge of the staffing industry. 
  • Great written & verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related fields is required.
