Our client is an investment management and strategic wealth planning firm located in northern NJ. Their team is now looking for a Client Services Associate.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80k

Position Overview:

The Client Services Associate will contribute to the continued growth of the firm while providing excellent service to clients. The ideal candidate for the Client Services Associate will help provide administrative support, which includes the creation, maintenance and editing of documents, spreadsheets, files and presentations.

Responsibilities of the Client Services Associate:

  • Client interaction and service.
  • Calendar management and coordination of meetings, including all logistics.
  • Database management.
  • Answering, screening, and directing telephone calls appropriately.
  • Creating and processing account paperwork.
  • Handling client Requests (withdrawals, charitable donations, charitable gifts, etc).
  • Handling RM request (updating IPS’s, changing beneficiaries, etc).
  • Overseeing GIPS factsheet disbursements and CRS process.
  • Calculating and processing Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
  • Cleaning and maintaining existing client files.
  • Completing general administrative task.

Required Experience/Skills for the Client Services Associate:

  • 3+ years experience in financial services industry.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 & Series 63 or 65 preferred.
  • Accounting or Retirement Plan experience a plus.
  • NJ Life & Health Insurance License a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
