Our client, a leader in the flavor and fragrance industry is looking for reliable and self-driven Compounders to cover their 2nd and 3rd Shifts.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$26/hr – $27/hr after training and depending on shift.

Position Overview:

The Compounders (2nd/3rd Shift) will be responsible for blending ingredients according to set formulas. The schedule is as follows: 2nd Shift – 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm and 3rd Shift – 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.

Responsibilities of the Compounders (2nd/3rd shift):

  • Adhere to formulas and processing instructions, ensuring accurate mixing, pouring, and material handling.
  • Apply heating and cooling processes to batches as specified in instructions.
  • Inspect raw materials before use to verify color, odor, and other quality characteristics. Report any discrepancies to the supervisor and Quality Control (QC).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and internal company policies.

Required Experience/Skills for the Compounders (2nd/3rd shift):

  • Ability to follow instructions, perform routine work assignments, and manage multiple tasks with moderate supervision.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a commitment to quality, with an awareness of how daily operations impact overall production and customer satisfaction.
  • Clear communication skills (both verbal and written), punctuality, reliable attendance, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in work procedures, methods, equipment use, and computerized work instructions.
  • Must be able to identify poor-quality ingredients and maximize available resources for improved productivity.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Compounder (2nd/3rd shift):

  • At least 1 – 3 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Training and knowledge in dispensing or batch-processing manufacturing, barcoding, automated dosing systems, and forklift operation.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with basic mathematical proficiency.
