Client Overview:

Our client, an organization here in Tampa, is looking for an impressive Contracts Administrative Assistant to join their Accounting team based out of Tampa, FL.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18.50/hr – $20/hr

Position Overview:

The Contracts Administrative Assistant oversees vendor insurance compliance, coordinates the Tenant Vendor Insurance program, and provides support to departments on contract procedures. Additional duties include administrative tasks and other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrative Assistant:

  • Review/verify all vendor insurance certificates.
  • Coordinate the Tenant Vendor Insurance program for fair vendors.
  • Review and screen vendor applications for eligibility and send applicant information to the provider for enrollment.
  • Perform additional duties including writing/revision of departmental contracts, and requisitions as needed.
  • Assist outside departments with the contract processes and instruction.
  • Other various duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Contracts Administrative Assistant:

  • 1 – 3 years of administrative experience.
  • High level of computer skills and experience working with spreadsheets and using programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe) and accounting/purchasing systems.
  • Intermediate Math skills (calculate figures/discounts, proportions, area, etc.).
  • Insurance experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college is preferred.
