Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative with preferred experience in banking or insurance. The ideal Customer Service Representative candidate will have a strong background in customer service and an understanding of the financial services industry. This role involves interacting with customers to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about our products and services.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Assist customers with inquiries related to banking or insurance products and services
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, products, and services
- Process transactions and maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
- Participate in training sessions to stay current with industry trends and company updates
Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking or insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and de-escalate customer concerns
- Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
