Client Overview:

Our client, a growing technology company in Summit, NJ, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst II to join their expanding team. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$38/hr+ Depending on experience.

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst II who has 5+ years of experience and is a self-starter. The ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst II role will conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst II:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing relevant schedules and reconciliations.
  • Manage ad hoc financial analysis requests from management, providing timely and accurate insights.
  • Reconcile goods receipts, delivery schedules, and invoices to reduce service recognition delays and improve vendor payment timelines.

Qualifications for the Financial Analyst II:

  • Advanced excel skills – pivot tables and VLOOKUPs are a must.
  • Software: SAP is a must.
  • Analytical and very detail-oriented.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • MBA is a plus.
