Client Overview:

Our client is a renowned fashion brand known for its commitment to innovation, quality, and style. As they continue to push boundaries, they are seeking a talented Freelance Senior Designer to join their team on a temporary basis to design for Sleepwear & Accessories.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60/hr – $65/hr

Position Overview:

As a Freelance Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of the Sleepwear & Accessories line. Your expertise, artistic vision, and trend-savvy approach will be crucial in driving the brand’s success. Working within a collaborative and dynamic team, the Freelance Senior will bring passion for fashion and design to create captivating collections that reflect the brand identity and resonate with the customers.

Responsibilities of the Freelance Senior Designer:

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of women’s fashion collections, ranging from ready-to-wear to eveningwear, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to define seasonal themes, color palettes, and design strategies.
• Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform design decisions.
• Develop detailed sketches, mood boards, and tech packs that effectively communicate design concepts to the product development team.
• Oversee the entire design process, from initial sketches to final prototypes, while maintaining adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Senior Designer:

• 5+ years of experience in Women’s fashion design in Sleepwear & Accessories.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design versatility, technical skills, and creativity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. In-depth knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
• A keen eye for detail, color, and trends, with the ability to translate them into compelling designs.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is required.
