Our client is a reputable investment management firm. They are currently looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong HR Generalist to join a well-known company!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k + 15% Bonus
Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will work on HR tasks across functional areas but will primarily focus on employee relations and investigations. This HR Generalist must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed. This HR Generalist will have opportunities for growth down the line!
Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, escalating as needed.
- Manage employee relations, including investigations and performance issues.
- Assist with employee terminations and documentation.
- Provide advice on company policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies and processes are up-to-date and clearly communicated.
- Build relationships to understand organizational needs.
- Acquire knowledge of company benefits, payroll, and recruitment functions.
- Oversee and complete annual compensation surveys.
- Support annual compensation reviews and talent management initiatives.
- Develop communications to educate employees on their roles and compliance.
- Cultivate external networking connections within HR and related fields.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and safeguard confidential information.
- Research and update HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain organized workspaces and proper storage of information.
- Foster a positive workplace culture.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the HR Generalist:
- 5+ years of well-rounded HR experience.
- Strong employee relations experience including investigations and terminations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with and manage senior management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong team player and willingness to help in various areas of HR.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is required.
