Client Overview:

Our client is a leading apparel manufacturing company known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. They are looking to add an Inventory Manager to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28/hr – $32/hr

Position Overview:

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure seamless production and distribution. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in supply chain management within the apparel or manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate for the Inventory Manager role will collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and sales, to maintain accurate stock levels and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Manager:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and track inventory movements, ensuring accuracy in stock records.
  • Oversee the ordering, receiving, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to forecast demand and prevent stock shortages or excess.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Utilize inventory management software to generate reports and analyze stock trends.
  • Implement best practices to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications for the Inventory Manager:

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of textile and garment production processes is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
