Client Overview:
Our client a well-known NYC utility looking to add a Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr – $60/hr
Position Overview:
As the Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce, you will design and develop test cases/scenarios for all types of testing (usability, regression, functional, integration, performance, UAT, and unit). They will support the test lead in authoring test plans, analyze business requirements, and engage the Test Lead and Project team on issues that may impact designing a testable solution. The Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce will conduct test execution and prepare reports on test progress and regression. Additionally, they will raise issues, risks, and dependencies and identify assumptions. The Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce will be responsible for defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, resolution, and reporting. They will execute manual test cases, develop, and initiate automated test scripts, and create and manage any resulting defects.
Responsibilities of the Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce:
- Perform functional and regression testing.
- Record and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within applications.
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Provide regular updates on testing activities and results to the project team and management.
Qualifications for the Junior Functional Tester – Salesforce:
- Experience: Proven experience in software testing, with specific experience in Salesforce testing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in a small team environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
