Client Overview:

Our client is an established consumer goods company with global reach and is looking for a Lab Technician to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician will work on the Analytical team performing various tests on samples using instruments such as HPLC, GC, and spectrometry in a fast-paced environment. The Lab Technician should have good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

• The Lab Technician will work in the lab performing analytical tests on samples.
• Operate analytical lab equipment such as spectrometers, GC and HPLC.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot products and lab equipment.
• Perform quality and stability tests on samples (color, viscosity, pH, etc.).
• Assist with other lab functions as required.
• The Lab Technician will maintain laboratory records and inventory.

Qualifications for the Lab Technician:

• 0 – 3 years of lab experience in an academic or professional laboratory.
• Completed academic chemistry lab courses.
• Familiar with analytical instruments, ideally HPLC and GC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science is highly preferred.
