Our client is a development and Design firm in Florida that specializes in site planning, landscape, and engineering services. They are looking for a Landscape Designer to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k – $80k
Position Overview:
The Landscape Designer should be able to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, and have a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities of the Landscape Designer:
- Design of municipal buildings, right-of-way enhancement projects, site development, and public areas (parks and recreation, urban streetscapes, etc.).
- Preparing documents for lighting design, irrigation, hardscape, wayfinding, and landscaping are among the tasks.
- Assist with public Engagement.
- Cost estimation.
- Obtaining local regulatory approval as a Landscape Designer
- Drafting bid paperwork and technical specifications.
Required Experience/Skills for the Landscape Designer:
- 2+ years of experience in the landscape architecture field.
- Familiarity with landscape architecture design software, such as AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Lumion, and Sketch-Up.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Landscape Designer:
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility, and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills as a Landscape Designer.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Architecture, or Urban Planning is preferred.
