Our client is a successful legal firm seeking a Legal Billing Manager to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $130k

Position Overview:

The Legal Billing Manager will manage the Billing team and the entire e-billing cycle and ensure compliance with client-specific billing guidelines. The Legal Billing Manager will build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction with billing services.

Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Manager:

  • Oversee the team and preparation, submission, and follow-up of e-bills through various e-billing platforms.
  • Promptly address any discrepancies or rejections.
  • Liaise with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
  • Prepare and analyze billing reports to track the firm’s revenue and billing efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries.
  • Provide guidance and training to the e-billing team on e-billing systems and procedures.

Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Billing Manager:

  • 7+ years of legal billing experience.
  • Proficiency with Elite 3e billing software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Supervisory experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
