Oncology Triage Nurse

Our client, a value-based cancer care company, is seeking compassionate Oncology Triage Nurses to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$39.90/hr

Position Overview:

The Oncology Triage Nurse will provide first point clinical support to patients through inbound calls. The Oncology Triage Nurse establish trusting relationships with members and their care network.

Responsibilities of the Oncology Triage Nurse:

• Respond promptly to inbound calls from patients, assessing symptoms and urgency of needs
• Assist members with care coordination, symptom management, nutritional support, discharge planning and provider referrals
• Assist with urgent clinical escalations and provide clinical consult support

Qualifications for the Oncology Triage Nurse:

• At least 3 years of oncology nursing experience with 2 years of telephonic triage nursing in an outpatient setting
• A compact, unrestricted registered nurse license and a willingness to obtain additional state licenses are required
• Must be able to work 2:30pm-11pm EST

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required
