Client Overview:
Our client is a leader in the fashion industry, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and trend-setting styles. They are seeking a meticulous and experienced Order Processing Customer Representative with a strong understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and the proper flow of orders. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Position Overview:
The Order Processing Customer Representative is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing. The ideal Order Processing Customer Representative candidate will have a strong understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and be well-versed in the proper flow of orders from receipt to fulfillment.
Responsibilities of the Order Processing Customer Representative:
- Accurately process customer orders received through various channels, including EDI, email, and phone
- Ensure orders are entered into the system promptly and correctly, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Monitor and manage the flow of orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, shipment details, and any potential issues
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and warehouse, to resolve order-related queries and discrepancies
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer orders, transactions, and correspondence
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance order processing efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly
Qualifications for the Order Processing Customer Representative:
- Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or a related role
- Strong understanding of EDI orders and order management systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
