They are seeking a meticulous and experienced Order Processing Customer Representative with a strong understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and the proper flow of orders. Position Overview:

The Order Processing Customer Representative is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing. The ideal Order Processing Customer Representative candidate will have a strong understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders and be well-versed in the proper flow of orders from receipt to fulfillment.

Responsibilities of the Order Processing Customer Representative:

• Accurately process customer orders received through various channels, including EDI, email, and phone
• Ensure orders are entered into the system promptly and correctly, adhering to company policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage the flow of orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, shipment details, and any potential issues
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and warehouse, to resolve order-related queries and discrepancies
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer orders, transactions, and correspondence
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance order processing efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly

Qualifications for the Order Processing Customer Representative:

• Proven experience in order processing, customer service, or a related role
• Strong understanding of EDI orders and order management systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED is required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
