Our client is a dynamic law firm looking for a skilled Paralegal to join their Personal Injury team. If you have a passion for helping others and are looking to grow in a fast-paced environment, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$55k – $70k
Position Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting their attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients. Personal Injury experience is required. Candidates with First Party Property experience are also welcomed as there is a similar opening within that team.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal:
- The Paralegal will assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including preparing legal documents, filings, and discovery.
- Manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and deadlines are met.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to support the Legal team.
- The Paralegal will communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progression.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, legal briefs, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- The Paralegal will maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications for the Paralegal:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Must have Personal Injury experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Plaintiff experience in personal injury is highly preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Education Requirements:
- A degree is not required but preferred.
