Our client is a trusted and growing multi-office law practice. They are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Paralegal/Tax Preparer.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k+
Position Overview:
The trust and estate Tax Preparer/Paralegal will be responsible for handling a wide array of trust and estate matters, including client tax returns, estate and trust administration, document preparation, and client case management.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal/Tax Preparer:
- Prepare fiduciary income tax returns.
- Assist with probate, trust, and estate administration.
- Prepare inheritance, estate, and gift tax returns.
- Prepare and review fiduciary accountings.
- Provide exceptional service to clients on trust and estate matters.
Required Experience/Skills for the Paralegal/Tax Preparer:
- 3 – 5 years or more of experience in client tax return preparation is required.
- 3 – 5 years or more of experience in fiduciary accounting (preferred).
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Paralegal/Tax Preparer:
- Experience in trust & estate administration planning (preferred).
- Prior law firm experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certificate is required.
