Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Tax Analyst to join a growing team in the tech/payroll software space.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $35/hr
Position Overview:
As a Payroll Tax Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting tax credit initiatives, resolving complex tax-related issues, and conducting internal audits. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for a Payroll Tax Analyst with strong experience in Master Tax Software and multi-entity environments (C-Corp, S-Corp, LLCs) who is ready to contribute in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities of the Payroll Tax Analyst:
- Utilize your tax and accounting knowledge to support projects focused on securing tax credits for customers.
- Resolve complex, escalated customer inquiries related to taxes and associated products.
- Collaborate with the team to conduct internal audits and ensure the accuracy of tax credit calculations.
- Partner with Account Managers and Customer Support teams to gather and clarify missing customer information.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Payroll Tax Analyst:
- Experience with Master Tax Software (will not consider without it).
- Payroll Tax experience (Not just someone who has processed payroll).
- Experience with C-Corp, S-Corp, and LLCs.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax is preferred.
