Our client is an American based cosmetics company whose goal is to create premium beauty and skincare products that are both safe and effective. They are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their Supply Chain division.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$80,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

This Planning Manager will act as a notable leader within the company to ensure project needs and timelines are met. The Planning Manager manages and develop relationships with vendors and contract manufacturers, including but not limited to placing purchase orders, ensure timely arrival of goods, and collaborate in any troubleshooting as needs arise. This role is onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities of the Planning Manager:

  • In charge of planning, revising, and executing Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Analyze material data within ERP and IBP systems
  • Develop inventory plans for finished goods and raw materials within the facility while being mindful of safety protocols
  • Analyze yearly and quarterly data to develop recommendations for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with other divisions such as Operations, Quality, Sales, and Finance

Qualifications for the Planning Manager:

  • Must have advanced knowledge of procurement and planning practices
  • Ideal candidates for this role should have a background in materials management, procurement, and inventory planning withing a regulated industry
  • Proven leadership and strategizing experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience. Relevant experience will be accounted for during salary negotiations

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain or other related disciplines is required
  • MBA is preferred but is not required
