Client Overview:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of men’s and women’s apparel. They are looking for a dedicated Production Assistant to join their dynamic team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$24 – $28/hr
Position Overview:
The Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sports apparel production process. This Production Assistant position involves effective communication with vendors, managing purchase orders, and following up on critical production timelines. They seek a proactive professional eager to grow within the organization.
Responsibilities of the Production Assistant:
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials for sports apparel production
- Manage purchase orders, including creation, tracking, and reconciliation, to support the sports division’s needs
- Follow up on lapses in delivery and production timelines to ensure project continuity and meet launch deadlines
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and production teams to streamline processes and resolve any issues
- Assist in the development of project timelines and budgets for upcoming collections
Qualifications for the Production Assistant:
- Experience in production coordination or a related field, preferably within the apparel or sports industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
